Beauty and the Beast

My favorite movie of all time ever is Beauty and the Beast.

It's funny, daring, sad, sweet, romantic, and beautiful.

This song though, is not from the movie. It is from the Broadway Musical. It is utterly beautiful and I want to cry every time I hear it!

So, listen and love.

Sincerely,
Kaitlin R.

I can never think of a post title...

I love this song!

It's from the movie Coraline (freaky movie...but I like it.)

This is a random picture! I love it! Enjoy!

Sincerely,
Kaitlin R.

Stuff cuz' I am bored.

I used this book to write a report about James Madison.

I barely used this book...it smells SO GOOD though! Really truly, the paper is super delicious smelling...is that weird to say? Oh well.

This is a pen from SUU. I didn't apply there to go to college.

It's backwards because that how the webcam takes pictures. I thought webcam was going to have one of those squiggly red lines under it, but it doesn't.

What is better than "studying" with earbuds (oh, so earbuds isn't a word Mr. Squiggly red line?) in, cell phone out, and a cup of diet sprite at your side? Why is it diet you ask? Cuz' that's what the mama bought. And cuz' isn't a word either apparently.

Random object of the day: A green notebook thing!

Well, good day to you all.

Sincerely,
Kaitlin R.

Music....

Inspires my soul.

Check these songs out.

Listen to them.

Love them.

I do.

And so many millions of others.

Well, there you go.

Hope you're all having an enjoyable last few days of summer!

Sincerely,

Kaitlin R.

AND IT'S PLAIN TO SEE...

The writers block is still lingering, but I shall do my best.

This weekend I went to Idaho to visit my sister and brother in law. They have the cutest apartment ever! I loved it immensely. We hung out, went to the mall, ate delicious food and watched a lot of telly.

"Well, to work!"

I also pushed a peanut, yes, a peanut, from my sisters front door to the street with my nose...don't ask...

Also,

THE SECOND MOVEMENT FOR MARCHING BAND IS SO UTTERLY SPECTACULAR AND EVERY TIME I HEAR IT I GET GOOSEBUMPS AND I FEEL LIKE I'M GOING TO PASS OUT!

Yes, it's that amazing...

Next week I'm going to California for a Drum Major leadership conference!

It's gonna be a party.

And oh my goodness!!! I recently stumbled/was told about a Masterpiece Mystery series called "Sherlock" and IT IS UTTERLY FANTASTIC! It's Sherlock Holmes in modern day London (yesterday when I was telling my sister's friend about it I accidentally said "Latter-day London"...Ah, well, it was the Sabbath after all) Gah, it's fabulous!

Well, this has all been very random...I'm going to eat a cookie.

Sincerely,
Kaitlin R.

MARCHING BAND.

Glorious week.

I love marching band.

I cannot say it enough.

:)

Come see the parade tomorrow!

Also, "The Young Victoria" is an astoundingly marvelous movie with fantastic music.

I love it.

Happy Summer!

Sincerely,
Kaitlin R.

Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow...

Tomorrow is a great day.

It's the beginning of something fantastic. Something epic. Something to laugh and cry about.

TOMORROW IS MARCHING BAND!

Life's complete once more.

Oh Marching Band, oh Marching Band, oh how I love you Marching Band!

YES! :D

Sincerely,
Kaitlin Rodgers

The world is a mess and I just...need to rule it...

Super Rad by the Aquabats is such a random song...but I love it!

These are some of the lyrics:

We're on our way here we go
We're gonna take over
Set it off one last time
Here we come again.

All systems go!
Soon the world will know
The fury of attack
Feel the wrath of
The super rad
The super rad
All systems go!
Soon the world will know
The fury of attack
Feel the wrath of
The super rad
Super rad
Super rad

Super rad!

Pretty random huh? Yes.

Today it really is Friday.

Sweet!

Also, MARCHING BAND IS SO CLOSE! :D

...Don't judge me...

Sincerely,

Kaitlin R.

If music be the food of love, play on...

There comes a moment in everyone's life when they encounter something so absolutely incredible, so mind bogglingly nerdy, so unbelievably fantastic that they cannot contain their joy and energy when it closes in upon them.

For me the "it" I'm referring to is less than two weeks away.

It is going to be utterly remarkable.

It is going to pass far to quickly.

It is going to bring triumphs and joys and sorrow and sore muscles.

It is Marching Band.

Ahhhhh! Glorious thing! I know, I know, it's so nerdy and weird and I suppose unhealthy that I love it this much...but if I could just convey to you how incredible it is, how much it's changed me, how fun and joyous it is...if I could just write a tenth of what it means to me then I believe you would understand.

It's one of those things you have to experience to get the full effect...but I love it and I am so flipping excited for the season to start!

Well, I'm off. Have pleasant dreams and grateful hearts!

Sincerely,
Kaitlin R.
